And this isn’t the last chance to party with your peers: the Back to the Hill: Young Alumni Reunion Festival is just around the corner!

Young Friends of Tufts Advancement hit the rooftop bar of D.C.'s Lost Society to make new friends, catch up with old friends, and raise money for future Tufts alumni.
On March 12, more than 170 alumni hit hot spot Public House for the YFTA’s 7th Annual NYC Bash. Of the night’s energetic buzz, Jen Bokoff, A08, co-president of the YFTA, says, “There were so many fun connections being made—people who knew friends of friends, or who connected only after Tufts in a different context—and enthusiastic conversations.”
On March 13, YFTA’s 1st Annual DC Bash welcomed more than 115 alumni to the first of many fabulous DC events, and continued to fuel the Jumbo spirit with food, drinks, music—and one amazing view—on Lost Society’s rooftop deck. Lucky raffle winners went home with Red Sox or Celtics tickets and brown and blue Tufts gear, among other prizes.
“For a first event, it was a big success,” says Lumay Wang, A11. “We were able to spread awareness of giving back to Tufts, and we got more donations than we thought we would!”
The events combined raised just under $3,000 from 79 donors for the Tufts Fund for AS&E, helping to ensure that future generations of Tufts students can enjoy the same vibrant campus life as alumni once did. This fiscal year alone, the YFTA has raised $23,370 from alumni outreach.
Keep an eye out for next year’s dates for your chance to give back to Tufts, connect with alumni in your area, and win prizes!
