Act # 63 Tufts Alumni of New Jersey - Tufts Earth Day
April 29, 2010
On Sunday, April 25, a hearty group of twenty Jumbos braved the bleak weather to clean up the Hemlock Falls section of the South Mountain Reservation in West Orange, NJ.
Volunteers collected trash and cleared trails throughout the afternoon in celebration of Earth Day. This project was one of the first efforts completed in the 150 Acts of Active Citizenship program, running throughout Tufts University Alumni Association’s Sesquicentennial Celebration. Further information, as well as a list of other acts taking place around the world, can be found at: http://www.tuftsalumni.org/150acts.
