National Volunteer Week, “Celebrating People in Action,” is a call to action for Americans to volunteer and inspire by example during the week of April 19-25. Created by President Richard Nixon in 1974, this week signals a commitment to creating a culture of service in America. In honor of this week, we’d like to thank all our Jumbo-hearted volunteers. We're still counting the ways in which you are making an impact on the Tufts community this fiscal year, but here are some of the ways that you made a difference last year.
