Tufts Journalism Society discusses the changing world of journalism

On Monday, November 2, the Tufts Journalism Society assembled a panel of alumni to engage in a discussion entitled “Careers for Journalists: What’s Next?”. The program was held at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. and featured four speakers: John Dineen, A75, executive editor of Congressional Quarterly; Jill Hudson Neal, J91, editor in chief of Washingtonian Bride & Groom and fashion editor of Washingtonian; Stephen Labaton, A83, Washington correspondent for the New York Times; and Kirit Radia, A05, State Department producer and off-air reporter for ABC News. Welcome remarks were given by David Meyers, A96, co-chair of the Tufts Journalism Society steering committee, and the discussion was moderated by Julie Dobrow, director of the Tufts Communications & Media Studies program.
