We’ve made some changes: Tufts Alumni launches redesigned website and e-newsletter

October 15, 2009

It's live!: a completely redesigned web site that is easy to use and provides the most comprehensive single source of information for Tufts alumni.

The site, www.tuftsalumni.org, reflects a team effort between alumni volunteer leaders and staff from the Office of Alumni Relations and Advancement Communications; they've devoted nearly nine months to gathering input from an alumni volunteer committee and helping a vendor translate those expectations into a new site. New features include content management software, a dynamic events calendar, and more visible links to the online community, among many other thoughtful design and architecture improvements.

“The result is a lively and essential resource for staying engaged with Tufts. When combined with other print and electronic communications, the site means we can now manage an integrated and more powerful presence in the hearts and minds of alumni," says Tim Brooks, executive director of Alumni Relations.

Each aspect of the site reflects the new Alumni Association branding, through the Tufts Alumni word-mark, and key messages intended to cultivate life-long connections among Tufts’ 90,000 alumni by keeping them involved in the life of their alma mater.

The redesign also includes a new look and feel for the associated monthly e-newsletter that goes out to all Tufts alumni- now called Tufts Up!

We’d love to know what you think of our new look for the website and newsletter. Send us your feedback at onlinecommunity@tufts.edu
