Description
Please join Tufts University alumni in the greater Los Angeles area for an inspiring visit to the Skirball Cultural Center to view three powerful exhibitions on the Civil Rights Movement.
The program begins with a private docent-led tour of “Road to Freedom: Photographs of the Civil Rights Movement, 1956-1968,” continues with a visit to “Breach of Peace: Photographs of Freedom Riders” by Eric Etheridge, and ends with a look at several works in “An Idea Called Tomorrow,” an exhibition in which some of today's leading artists explore their visions for a more civic-minded future.
Lunch will follow the tours with remarks by Stacy Lieberman, J92, the Skirball's Director of External Affairs. Friends and family of Tufts alumni are welcome to attend this unique event.
10:30 am – 12:30 pm: Private tour of exhibits
12:30 – 2:00 pm: Lunch at the Skirball, with remarks by Stacy Lieberman, J92

$20 per person. Price includes lunch and admission to all museum galleries, including Noah’s Ark at the Skirball (subject to availability). Parking is free.
