Description
Please join the Tufts Active Citizens of New York (TACNY) in our annual participation in New York Cares Day on Saturday, October 17th from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. According to the New York Cares website, "The Department of Education lost $180 million from its budget last year, forcing schools to cut or postpone revitalization and upkeep projects." Help us remedy this situation as we once again work to improve a public school and spend the day giving back to New York City.

Register online. Click on “register here” in the left hand navigation. Select “Join a Team” and choose Tufts Active Citizens of New York and Eleanor Roosevelt High School.
Cost
There is a small $20 tax deductible donation that New York Cares requires to help subsidize the event.
