When: Tuesday, November 10, 2009, 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm (iCal)
Description
Join us for an amazing meal at db Bistro, followed by dessert and discussion! Film can entertain us, but it can also tell a story in a powerful way to make a point, to advocate for a cause and to move us to act. Students in the Producing Films for Social Change class at Tufts have been learning to use film in precisely this way -- to make a difference.
On November 10, Communications and Media Studies Director Julie Dobrow will screen two short student films and lead a discussion about "Media and Public Service." The program is a joint endeavor between CMS and the Tisch College of Citizenship and Public Service, and this alumni event is also sponsored by the Tufts Alumni office.
Join us for a delicious dinner at the celebrated db Bistro!
Menu: Soupe du Jour, Winter Green Salad with mushroom carpaccio, Crab Cakes, db Burger, Chocolate Tower & Raspberry Sorbet.
