Description

Bring your families, wear your Tufts brown and blue, and join other members of the Tufts community here in Atlanta as we celebrate Homecoming 2009! A traditional hot dog and hamburger picnic is planned for all attendees. We’ll provide the basics (hot dogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers, rolls, chips, water and soft drinks); feel free to bring anything special you might want to eat or to share with the group. A few Bowdoin Polar Bears, our homecoming football opponent on campus, may even be in attendance! Don’t be surprised if a touch football game breaks out (coed, of course). Please join us, whether you plan to eat lunch or not. It’ll be a great chance to meet other Jumbos in a casual, laid-back setting.

Note: In addition to the picnic area and football field, there are two playground areas for young children to use. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to eat on, if you’re not into picnic tables. Also, please note that there are no restroom facilities at this park.
