Description

Please join Pen, Paint and Pretzels (3P’s) for a celebration of 100 years of theater! 3P’s is Tufts University’s oldest undergraduate student organization, founded a century ago this year. Although 3P’s began as a play production group in 1910, today it has grown to be the umbrella organization for the majority of performing arts groups on campus, including Hype!, Cheap Sox, Major: Undecided, The Institute, Sarabande, Torn Ticket II, the Traveling Treasure Trunk, and more. We hope you will join us for a weekend of events at our Centennial Celebration, March 5-7, 2010, in conjunction with the 3P’s Spring Major Production, SubUrbia. A full schedule of events includes highlights such as the 3P’s Supershow, Alumni Cocktail Reception, and Sunday Brunch.

A number of rooms have been reserved for Centennial Guests at La Quinta Inns & Suites in Somerville. To take advantage of this offer (available until February 18), just tell the hotel you are with “Tufts University 3P’s Centennial” for a discount when booking your rooms.

Cost

Tickets for the three ticketed events will be on sale at the Balch Arena Box Office beginning February 10. Please call 617.627.3493 to purchase with a credit card. Tickets for Sunday Brunch and 3P’s Supershow will only be available for purchase until March 5 and therefore must be purchased before arriving for Centennial Weekend.
