Description

Join Tufts Alumni Atlanta for a very special afternoon of cultural insight and plenty of fun at Atlanta’s renowned Center for Puppetry Arts!

Kids will love it, and grown ups will be highly entertained as well! The Center celebrates the art of puppetry at a high level, so prepare for an experience that stokes the imagination and tickles the funny bone.

Blast off is at 1 pm with a performance of SPACE! Next, we will take a tour of the newly installed Jim Henson Collection, which chronicles his life and art and features some of his most endearing creations. (Big Bird really is BIG!) At any time, you’re welcome to head over to the Workshop where you can create your very own “extra-terrestrial puppet.” The Museum is open all day and features a world-class collection exploring the history of puppetry.
