Transcripts?

School of Arts and Sciences undergraduate and graduate degrees: Transcript requests are handled by the Student Services office in Dowling Hall on the Medford Campus. Classes 1999 and up may request transcripts online via the Student Services website (fee: $3). You can stop by and complete a transcript request form or mail your request.

Mailed requests should include the following information:

  1. Your name at time of matriculation
  2. Social Security number
  3. Dates of attendance
  4. Number of transcripts requested
  5. Mailing instructions (whether they will be sent to you or a third party)
  6. Your signature
  7. Check or money order for $3 per transcript payable to "Trustees of Tufts College"

Also include your phone number or email address in case questions arise.

Any forms that graduate schools or other organizations require to be sent with the transcript can also be included, and Tufts will mail them with the transcripts.

Your request should be mailed to:

Attn: Transcript Coordinator
Student Services Center
Dowling Hall
Tufts University
Medford, MA 02155

Transcripts will be available for pick-up within 24 hours if you completed the form on campus, otherwise they will be delivered within five to seven business days. Each transcript will come with its own envelope. Your records must indicate that you are financially cleared in order for a transcript request to be completed. Visit the Student Services website (link) for more information about transcript requests. Professional school transcript requests are handled by the individual schools.
